Learn the creative process with many soon to be announced guests joining Mike Zito for
8 lessons this summer, beginning June 8 through July 27.

Music lovers everywhere, songwriters, artists, and musicians are all invited to join.
A new generation of songwriters can learn from songwriters from the past and from
today’s composers.

Funded by donations and an ASCAP grant founded by the renowned composer Bart Howard.

Howard’s humble beginnings along the Mississippi River in rural southeast Burlington, Iowa, inspired him to write “Fly Me to the Moon” (originally titled In Other Words) in 1954 circling the world, lifting spirits globally.

Frank Sinatra’s 1964 recording was played by the astronauts of Apollo 10 and played ‘on the moon’ by Buzz Aldrin during the Apollo 11 landing.
